The Academy Awards celebrate great artists, including writers whose original works have been adapted for film and writers who have adapted others’ work for the big screen.  This year’s nominees for Best Picture at the Oscars include Amour, Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained, Les Miserables, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, and Zero Dark Thirty.
