Also Known As…


We all know that Dr. Suess’ real name was Theodor Giesel, but have you ever heard of Boz, Clive Hamilton or Paul French? Those were pens names used by Charles Dickens, C.S. Lewis and Isaac Asimov, respectively. A lot of attention has been given to author pseudonyms this week in light of the revelation that J.K. Rowling had published “The Cuckoo’s Calling” as Robert Galbraith. Although the book was not commercially successful, it was well-received by literary critics, who often noted that the book seemed too sophisticated for a rookie effort. Turns out they were right!  If you were to choose a pen name under which to write, what would it be?
